Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have been living at the apartment complex for a year now paying $750 a month while all new people moving in are paying a little more than 600 for the same room. I called and they said that they wouldnβt match that price for me or my roommates. Not a good move by them wonβt be renewing!!!

It was fine. Thatβs about it. The fact that rent keeps going up considering they have done no renovations is kind of absurd. I had to put a mat inside of my bathtub because of how gross it was. It was extremely obvious that the work done after the previous tenant moved out was quick and sloppy. I could still see the marks from the nails in my walk and they were patched over very lazily. The outlet covers on my walls were falling off upon arrival. The foyers were never clean and infested with Joro spiders all fall, making it not so fun to walk out of my apartment. The apartment always felt dirty no matter how hard I tried.

Itβs fine but I rather have an actual key to the front door rather than using Bluetooth. It would be so much easier especially if thereβs an issue with WiFi or data or if the phone is dead. The price is okay for what it is tho I guess

Updating because it's really not that bad. I really really REALLY hate the locks with no fobs, and I still do hate the bumps. I also disagree with increasing rent every lease cycle bc these apartments are pretty fair value at their current state. Also pretty far from campus which is nice because we don't have to deal with campus event crap, but sucks because we get one public transit bus that stops running at 5. Teetering between a four star and five star, but I can't put a 3.5, and I dont think it's quite a 4. Definitely not the worst student apartments I've seen though

Honestly, don't bother. You can get better quality closer to campus for the same price. The drains were constantly clogged, even after having called maintenance on numerous occasions. Serious bug problem, my roommate was constantly getting bitten. There was mold in the washer, the cabinets were all torn up, and there were holes in the ceiling and walls. Air circulation was horrible with half the apartment freezing and the other burning up. Never got a chance to go into the pool cause half the time it was green last year. Also watch out, they'll try to charge you for anything. They tried to charge me for carpet damage since I have a kitten even though there was no evidence of damage.
